The members of the Commonwealth IGF initiative will continue to work on engaging its member countries and identifying resources and partner that will help promote the issues surrounding Internet Governance to various stakeholder groups in Commonwealth countries.

The key activities that have been identified to form part of its work plan for 2010 are:

1. Travel Bursaries
Following the valuable contribution of the 2009 Travel Bursary participants at the 4th IGF, this activity continues to be a priority for 2010. In order to give young professionals who are active in Internet Governance in their countries or field the opportunity to participate in Internet Governance Forum meetings, the project will be awarding bursaries to cover the travel costs of attending the 5th IGF in Vilnius.

2. Cybercrime Resource Base
In effort to promote awareness on Cybercrime, the Commonwealth IGF will be working with various partners to collect resources and documentation on policies and legislation related to Cybercrime that will be made available online.

3. Legislation pack on Child Protection on the Internet
Commonwealth IGF will be analysing existing legislation for child protection on the Internet in order to put together a synthesis of resources for legislators from Commonwealth countries to be able to incorporate in the formulation of their own legislation.

4. 5th IGF in Vilnius, Lithuania
Commonwealth IGF plans to organise an open forum session at the 5th IGF in Lithuania. It continues to support the continuance of the IGF as a useful space for the exchange of ideas.
